Biography
June Berry RWS, NEAC, RWA, Hon.RE
June Berry was born in 1924 in Melbourne, Derbyshire, and studied painting at the Slade School of Fine Art London from 1942 to 1943 and from 1946 to 1949 after war service as a Wren in the W.R.N.S.
She has exhibited all over the world, received many prestigious awards and her work is held in major collections worldwide including the USA, Russia, Germany and in the UK in the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Government Art Collection and the Royal Collection in London.
She is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society (exhibiting several times a year at the Bankside Gallery, London), the Royal West of England Academy, the New English Art Club (exhibiting annually at the Mall Galleries, London) and is an honorary member of the Royal Society of Painter Etchers.
